ACT 1
I want to bring in poetry
a positive subject
That has been helping people
And that’s the goal
which is solidarity
for many communities
THE SERTÃO VIVO PROJECT
Because this beautiful project
it was created to help
needy communities
from an inhospitable place
Helping children by donating
School supplies
in 2017
In April it started
This beautiful story
that everyone supported
this story became possible
With your support
the dream came true
Diana Santos leaving
straight from canada
carrying in her luggage
School supplies
doing it with your heart
For the children of the sertão
And for the families to rejoice
It started “small”
But we always dreamed big
in our first time
With effort, raising
for many companion hands
There were 40 lunch boxes
To the children, we brought
And every following year
There were more hearts coming together
And the mission among many
It just kept multiplying
with the lord’s blessings
Inside he backpacks the love
kept multiplying
the good multiplied
Along with love was added
Because seeing the emotion
on each face stamped
The project right now
in the most important way
became justified
and justified is
by human will
Which spreads the good
And your affection grows
Acts of mine and also yours
Guided by faith of God
in his great will
So in the following years
It kept growing and growing
Tô more and more families
The project contemplated
In one year, 65
The next , 135
Backpacks were delivered
And already in the current year
310 we take
But for next year
we increasing this amount
More than half a thousand
To the Sertão of Brazil we plan,
To deliver
every kind gesture
each contribution
that you are doing
From the bottom of your heart
It will be delivered one by one
And there will be no children
Lacking gratitudes
Backpacks will be sent
On the way of our goal
To help our children
Of the SERTÃO VIVO project
They will be receiving in the early days of January
before the school year
when we witness the smile
That we leave in child
Leticia, Wesley, Maria
The emotion, can not be explained
in a call of hope
believe and trust
That the justifies our commitment
It was a simple white out
that Gabriele wished for
Her mother without any way to afford it ,
Told her
Wait my child
let us have faith in the Lord
that He will provide
Faith in God and in humanity
that good will happen
The good was done there
With the help of the community of here
from generous hearts
And generous men
living in Canada
in the Sertão of Pernambuco
The project is fulfilled
And, on each written verse
love spreads
No hand or pen is needed
But with your help and heart you sign
it with your heart
ACT 3
We went to Serra da Torre
Also to Azulão
to Serra do Marinheiro
Where there was great emotion
even with so much poverty
we find noble people
at heart
Now all these people
That I went and saw
in Bodocó
Or even in Ouricuri
There in Vila do Pitu
where the sky is bluest
I felt a lot of joy
And there are more locations
For us to bring joy
Arriving in Araripina
Or even in Rancharia
we are going forward
In contact with these people
be it day or be it night
For the existing goodness
in those suffering people
Decreases, in the face of hope
in the simple things in life
For in this simplicity
lies the happiness
And the pain is easier to take
And every year that goes by,
More hope we take
even in inhospitable places
With strength and faith we arrived
And so, without looking at who
we are doing good
in the places we go
because in a happy moment
Only living it you will know
It’s so important
It doesn’t fit in half the world
When we live this happiness
everything we want most
It’s just that it will never end
Always taking with us
in the luggage , hope
for practicing the good
The organization is never tired
spreading love and affection
With all the care possible to
the adult and the child
Every smiling face
It brings
In us the assurance
that what we’re doing is right .
Because doing good is good
And that’s how LIFE FOR LIVES,grows
by always doing good
ACT 4
We have great partners there
that help in the work
more than just solidarity
They bring love and hope

Thats help us in our mission
to try to ease
The pain the populations feels
For the pain of another
Hurts our heart
And we at LIFE FOR LIVES
we are always ready
to helping others even through
obstacules , and we have the help
Our Portuguese community in Toronto
Our NGO is registered
In Brazil,
helping a lot of people
That are needy
this is our mission
To help our brother
Or sister, and all the helpless
And our projects exist
on a happy itinerary

we are all volunteers
All volunteers
Brings us encouragement and joy
inspires us to do more
every year, every day
like a string of the “CORDEL”
recite on paper
in the form of poetry
And so we will continue
our mission, our goal
taking help and support
For the people of Northeast Brazil
With God always guiding us
The Organization continues to help
And so it never discourages
Tonight we thank you
From the bottom of our hearts
to each of you who helped us

Se fez para ajudar
Comunidades carentes
De um inóspito lugar
Às crianças, ajudando
E a muitas delas doando
Material escolar
Em 2017
Em abril se iniciou
Essa nossa linda história
Que todo mundo apoiou
E possível ela se fez
Com o apoio de vocês
O sonho concretizou
Diana Santos saindo
Direto do Canadá
Levando em sua bagagem
Material escolar
Fazendo de coração
Pras crianças do sertão
E as famílias alegrar
Ele começou “pequeno”
Mas sempre grande sonhando
Em sua primeira vez
Com esforço, arrecadando
Por muitas mãos companheiras
Foram 40 lancheiras
Às crianças, entregando
E cada ano seguinte
Foi mais coração juntando
E a missão entre muitos
Só foi se multiplicando
Com as bênçãos do senhor
Nas mochilas, o amor
Só foi se multiplicando
O bem se multiplicou
Junto ao amor foi somado
Pois ao ver a emoção
Em cada rosto estampado
O projeto neste instante
Na forma mais importante
Se torna justificado
E justificado está
Pela atitude humana
Que vai propagando o bem
E seu carinho se emana
Atos meus e também seus
Guiados na fé em Deus
Na vontade soberana

Então nos anos seguintes
A quantidade aumentou
Assim mais e mais famílias
O projeto contemplou
Num ano, 65
Depois 135
Mochilas se entregou
E já no ano corrente

Lá no sertão do Brasil
Entregar, nós planejamos
Cada gesto de bondade
Cada contribuição

Rumo ao seu objetivo
Ajudar nossas crianças

Quando vimos o sorriso
Que em cada criança fica

O projeto cumpre a sina
E, em cada lauda escrita
O amor se dissemina
Sem usar caneta ou mão
Mas sim com o coração

Fomos à Serra da Torre
Também a do Azulão
À Serra do Marinheiro
Lá foi grande a emoção
Mesmo com tanta pobreza
Nós encontramos nobreza
Do povo, no coração
Agora este povo todo
Por onde eu passei e vi
Seja no Bodocó
Ou mesmo em Ouricuri
Lá na Vila do Pitu
Onde o céu é mais azul
Muita alegria eu senti
E tem mais localidades
Pra levarmos alegria
Chegando em Araripina
Ou mesmo em Rancharia
Nós vamos tocando em frente
Em contato com essa gente
Seja noite ou seja dia
Pois a bondade existente
Naquela gente sofrida
Diminui, ante a esperança
Nas coisas simples da vida
Pois nesta simplicidade
Reside a felicidade
E a dor é menos doída
E a cada ano que passa
Mais esperança levamos
Mesmo em lugares inóspitos
Com garra e fé nós chegamos
E assim, sem olhar a quem
Nós vamos fazendo o bem
Nos lugares que passamos
Pois um momento feliz
Só quem tá vivendo sabe
Sendo ele tão importante
Em meio mundo não cabe
Quando um desses nó vivemos
Tudo que nós mais queremos
É que ele nunca se acabe
Levando sempre conosco
Na bagagem, esperança
Pois de praticar o bem
A ONG jamais se cansa

The Sertão Vivo project
The Sertão Vivo project has expanded and been able to reach more children every year. In February 2020, we had the opportunity to bring 100 kits (backpack, lunchbox, case) plus school supplies, meeting the needs of more than one hundred and twenty children from the Araripe/PE region. Our goal is to provide basic educational needs to the children in social vulnerability.
